5 Replies to “Mudra – Free Responsive WordPress Theme

  1. Thank you for the Mudra theme. It’s visually appealing, uncluttered, and works well for my blog. However, I’m having trouble with some of the customization settings. I have my own copyright notice in the sidebar, so I’d like to remove the copyright from the footer (or remove the footer completely) but I can’t see how to do that. I have unchecked “Display footer widgets” but that seems to have no effect at all. Is there a way to remove the copyright or the entire footer? Thanks.

    1. To remove copyright notice, you will need the help of a child theme. I currently did not include an option to disable it. I will add it in the next update. Until then use the modified version of siteinfo.php file in child theme to achieve your task.

    1. Thanks, Anil, for the update to version 1.06 where the copyright notice can now be disabled. I was in the process of testing a child theme to do that, but now it’s not necessary. I appreciate the extra customization. Have a good day.
